Hey everyone, I'm Jenny!
Welcome to Fluent Spanish!
I'm Jenny, a Venezuelan who landed in the U.S. two years ago with a love for Spanish and a passion for teaching it. I'm a journalist, photographer, and professor with 25+ years of experience at a university in my beloved Maracaibo.
Did you know that Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world? Here in Houston, being bilingual is a superpower. I've taught Spanish to kids, managers, chefs, nurses, police officers, and business owners—no one escapes speaking Spanish with me!
I always tell my students: "My English isn’t perfect, but my Spanish is flawless." Now, I want to help those with an basic, intermediate or advanced level gain confidence and speak fluently—almost like a native.

WHAT IS FLUENT SPANISH?
Fluent Spanish is a conversation club led by native Spanish-speaking teachers from different Spanish-speaking countries. Our classroom is open to English speakers who have learned Spanish and want to achieve fluency—whether for work, travel, or socializing with Latino friends.
We offer different conversation rooms based on proficiency levels, ensuring that everyone practices at the right pace. Our 60-minute sessions are fully focused on speaking practice, with a structured approach that includes thematic discussions and relevant vocabulary. Each group is limited to a maximum of 5 participants, allowing for an interactive and immersive experience.
Class Schedule:
Group 1: Mondays to Friday at 12:00 PM (USA Central time-CT)
Group 2: Mondays to Friday at 1:00 PM (USA Central time-CT)

OUR CONVERSATION CLUB
For 60 minutes, we connect Spanish learners with native Spanish-speaking teachers in an interactive online conversation room. Each session is designed to help you gain confidence and fluency by discussing engaging topics with a small group (maximum 5 participants).
This Spanish conversation club is for you if you want to:
- Practice real Spanish with meaningful conversations.
- Gain and maintain fluency through constant practice.
- Train your ear by listening to different Spanish accents.
